Their set is nothing but hits from beginning to end, and you’ll definitely leave as a new fan if you weren’t one before.As the 25 th anniversary of Vans Warped Tour gets closer, the famed punk-rock festival has announced two additional cities to hit this summer, plus new details about what fans can expect to see once they’re on site. They are the epitome of what Warped Tour is all about. State ChampsĪnother band holding that pop-punk torch high and mighty. Their songs are wildly catchy, and it’s impossible to hear their set and not want to join in and sing along. I went to see my friends in Boston Manor (who get an honorable mention: they’re not on this year’s Warped, but they were my favorite artist on last year’s run) last fall, and Knuckle Puck was headlining the tour. I’ve had them on my list of bands I need to see live for a while now, and now I get to see them every day for 2-1/2 months. Trash Boatįirst of all, how could you not love a band that’s named Trash Boat? But more than that, their music is phenomenal. These guys are keeping the spirit of pure pop-punk alive and, well, and for that I am grateful. I saw these boys open up for the best band on the planet, Taking Back Sunday, last fall and they were an amazing choice to start the show. They are the perfect band to be playing the final Warped Tour and an absolute must-see if you’re coming out this summer.

When I saw that they were on the lineup for this year, I was beyond excited.

I was introduced to this band by my friend Dre last year on a car ride home from working another festival and instantly fell in love. One of the greatest frontmen to ever exist.

They were on the full tour last year and are returning only for a few select dates this time, with Cincinnati being one of the lucky stops. If you were ever a pop-punk kid, you have more than a few Silverstein shows under your belt. Every single song is a bop, and their energy onstage is contagious. I’ve loved this band for almost half my life now, so it’s incredibly surreal to be traveling the country alongside them. All of their songs are absolute jams, and they always put on a phenomenal show. I may be biased, because these boys are my bus mates, but they’re some of the most talented and hardworking people on this tour. Bonus: they’re Columbus boys, so you’ve gotta show up to support the Ohio family. Excited to have them back for a few dates this year. One of my favorite artists to watch on last year’s Warped. There might be some bad words in these here videos. Warning: Some of these bands are metal AF.
